Fault monitoring
Typical standards compliant installations may require full monitoring. (See: Options with
requirements. 1.1) The DIVA8 System VACIE monitors system health and detects alarm and
fault inputs. It provides an interface to external fault contacts and alarm inputs from the CIE,
and also provides an alarm/fault sounder and required secured G.F. contacts.
The DIVA8 System VACIE has a voltage free relay contact (G.F.-General Fault) that is
opened on system fault detection and when power is completely removed. For standards
compliance, this contact is fault-secured to provide a fault indication to the CIE.

3.3. Power requirements
The DIVA8 System VACIE is using a single 240VAC supply that is connected to separate
power fuses inside. From here it is distributed towards the BECS150 Battery charger(s) and
DPAxx or SPAxx Power amplifier(s).
The power requirements of the DIVA8 System VACIE are easily computed due to the overall
efficiency of 82% of the main power consuming devices like Amplifiers.
(Rated power amplifiers x 1.20) + (BECS150 x 1.2) = Min. AC-power requirements.
