DIVA8 System VACIE 8.3.2. Battery cascading instruction Total battery voltage to be connected to the EN54-4 battery charger and monitoring unit should be 24VDC ( 19VDC – 26.5VDC). To achieve this, two Power sonic PG-12V75 batteries can be connected in series as shown in figure 7. (Total capacity: 75AH - 1800WH) Important: Red and blue wires should be equal in size and length. Figure 7: 24VDC/75AH arrangement Higher capacity can be obtained by applying a series-parallel circuit as shown in figure 8.
DIVA8 System VACIE 8.4. Additional external wiring requirements For all external wiring, shielded cables should be used except for loudspeaker wires. Especially for longer cables, care should be taken that this shielding is firmly connected to earth. Logic inputs, connected externally with wires longer than 3m, should be provided with ferrite clamps. (f.i. Wurth STER-TEC & STAR-FIX LFS or equivalent to cover the 300k-1GHz range) For all other long cables this is also recommended.
