AboutATDInverters
ATD,aninnovatorinportableinverterdesign,hasdevelopedanewlineofsuper‐efficientpowerinverterswiththe
highestsurgecapabilityintheindustry.Theseextremelyadvanced,microprocessorcontrolledunitsruncoolerand
morereliablethanany in their class. Their superior surgecapability allowsthem to start eventhe
most difficult
loads, including color televisions, TV/VCR combinations, microwaves, refrigeration units, even small air
conditioners!Theyalsohavethehighestefficiencyavailable(upto90%)whichtranslatesintolongerrunningtime
andextendedbatterylife.
Inverters convert low voltage, direct current (DC) to 110‐volt alternatingcurrent (AC). Depending on 
the model
anditsratedcapacity,theinvertersdrawpowereitherfromstandard12voltautomobileandmarinebatteriesor
fromportablehighpower12voltsources.

