will save time and money.
In this chapter we will help you to recog-
nize and solve these problems.
WARNING! Repairs not
properly done may result in
serious risk to the safety of the

You cannot activate the ap-
pliance.
Make sure that the mains plug is connected to the mains

Make sure that there is no damaged fuse in the fuse box.
The programme does not
start or stops during opera-
tion.
Make sure that the appliance door is closed.
If the delay start is set, cancel the delay setting or wait for
the end of the countdown.
The appliance has started the procedure to recharge the
resin inside the water softener. The duration of the proce-
dure is approximately 5 minutes.
The appliance stops and
starts more times during op-
eration.
It is normal that the appliance stops and starts during the
programme in order to provide optimal cleaning results and
energy savings.
In models with the ''water sensor'' you will hear more stops
and starts during the programme. This depends on the se-
lected programme and the level of soil sensed.
The programme lasts too
long.
An energy-saving programme has been selected, in this
case the total programme time increases to compensate the
lower washing and drying temperatures. Use these pro-
grammes preferably at night.
If the delay start is set, cancel the delay setting or wait for
the end of the countdown.
The remaining time in the dis-
play increases and skips
nearly to the end of pro-
gramme time.
This is not a defect. The appliance is working correctly.
The appliance door is difficult
to close.
Parts of the tableware are protruding from the baskets (e.g.
pot or pan handles, ladles).
