UW OVEN Inleiding Gefeliciteerd met uw keuze voor deze Atag stoomoven. In het ontwerp van dit product heeft eenvoudige bediening en optimale gebruiksvriendelijkheid centraal gestaan. De oven biedt een uitgebreide reeks instellingen, zodat u altijd de juiste bereidingswijze kunt kiezen. In deze handleiding leest u hoe u deze oven het best kunt gebruiken. Naast informatie over de bediening, vindt u hier ook achtergrondinformatie die u tijdens het gebruik van het apparaat van pas kan komen.

Houd hiervoor de ‘Aan/uit toets’ ingedrukt tot het toestel uitschakelt. 02. Deurgreep Het volgende toebehoren wordt bij uw toestel geleverd: • Bakplaat; wordt gebruikt voor gebak en cakes. • Ovenrooster; wordt vooral gebruikt voor het grillen. Het ovenrooster kan ook gebruikt worden om een schaal of pan met een gerecht op te plaatsen.
UW OVEN • Geperforeerde stoomschaal; 40 mm diep (handig voor de stoomfuncties) • Geperforeerde stoomschaal; 1/3GN • Geperforeerde stoomschaal; 1/2GN • Voor stomen kunt u de geperforeerde stoomschaal in de nietgeperforeerde stoomschaal plaatsen. Deze kunnen alleen op niveau 2 samen worden gebruikt. • Verkleuring kan ontstaan bij temperaturen boven 180 °C! Dit heeft geen invloed op het correct functioneren van de oven. Culisensor • De culisensor meet de kerntemperatuur van het gerecht.
UW OVEN Sluit de ovendeur pas wanneer de telescoopgeleiders helemaal in de ovenruimte geschoven zijn. Deur • De deurschakelaars onderbreken de werking van de oven wanneer de ovendeur tijdens het gebruik wordt geopend. Bij sluiten van de deur vervolgt de oven zijn werking. • Deze oven heeft een ‘Soft close’ deursysteem. Dit zorgt ervoor dat de deur vanzelf en gedempt vanaf een bepaalde hoek sluit.
UW OVEN Hoofdschermen Startscherm 10:15 01 05 06 02 OVEN EXTRA’S STOMEN 07 03 04 Plus menu (01) • Tik op het plus symbool om het ‘Plus’ menu te openen. De inhoud van dit menu past zich aan naar gelang de mogelijkheden op dat moment in de bediening. Oven (02) • Tik op ‘OVEN’ om het ovenfunctie menu te openen. Kookwekker (03) • Tik op het kookwekker symbool om het kookwekker menu te openen. • De kookwekker kan onafhankelijk van een ovenfunctie worden gebruikt.
UW OVEN Stomen (06) • Tik op ‘STOMEN’ om het stoomfunctie menu te openen. Verlichting (07) • Tik op het ‘lamp’ symbool om de ovenverlichting in- of uit te schakelen. • De ovenverlichting gaat ook branden wanneer u de ovendeur opent of een bereiding start. De ovenverlichting dooft automatisch (tenzij dit in de instellingen is aangepast).
UW OVEN Functie-instelscherm 04 PROGRAMMA´S 10:15 02 01 180 °C 03 Hetelucht 05 Functie kiezen (01) • Tik op de pijltjes boven en onder de functie of veeg over het symbool om een functie te kiezen (zie ook ‘Toetsenbord openen’). Temperatuur instellen (02) • Tik op de pijltjes boven en onder de temperatuur of veeg over de temperatuur aanduiding om een temperatuur te kiezen (zie ook ‘Toetsenbord openen’). Bereidingstijd (03) • Tik op het bereidingstijd symbool als u een bereidingstijd in wilt stellen.

EERSTE GEBRUIK Eerste gebruik • Reinig de ovenruimte en de accessoires met warm water en afwasmiddel. Gebruik geen agressieve schoonmaakmiddelen, schuursponzen, en dergelijke. • Wanneer de oven voor de eerste keer wordt gebruikt kunt u een vreemde geur ruiken; dit is normaal. Zorg dan voor goede ventilatie. Als de oven (voor de eerste keer) wordt aangesloten op de netspanning moet u de ‘Taal’, ‘Tijd’ de ‘Datum’ en de ‘Waterhardheid’ instellen.
EERSTE GEBRUIK 1. Tik op de pijltjes boven en onder de tijd of veeg over de tijd om deze aan te passen. 2. Tik voor snelle invoer op het midden van de tijd, er verschijnt dan een pop-up met toetsenbordje waarop de gewenste tijd kan worden ingetypt (zie hoofdstuk ‘Toetsenbord openen’). 3. Druk op de bevestigingstoets om de ingestelde tijd op te slaan. Datum instellen DATUM 01 DAG 01 MAAND 2015 JAAR 1.
EERSTE GEBRUIK De waterhardheid controleren U kunt de waterhardheid meten met de bijgeleverde ‘papieren teststrip’. Voor informatie over de hardheid van het water in uw regio kunt u terecht bij uw plaatselijke waterschap. Gebruik van de ‘papieren teststrip’ Dompel de teststrip gedurende 1 seconde in water. Wacht 1 minuut en lees de hoeveelheid streepjes van de papieren strip af. Controleer de tabel voor de juiste waterhardheidinstelling. De waterhardheid instellen 1.
BEDIENING Gebruik van het ‘Plus’ menu 10:15 OVEN EXTRA’S STOMEN Het ‘Plus’ menu bevat een aantal functies of instellingen. De aangeboden plus functies zijn afhankelijk van het actieve scherm.
BEDIENING SNEL VOORVERWARMEN Verwarm de ovenruimte snel voor Plaats het gerecht nog niet UITGESTELDE START Het kookproces start automatisch op de gewenste tijd STOOM TOEVOEGEN 1-3X Verdeel tot 3 stoomcycli gelijkmatig over het kookproces • Vanuit het oven- stoom of combifunctie-instelscherm zijn de volgende functies in het ‘Plus’ menu te vinden: ▷ Snel voorverwarmen; Verwarm de oven snel voor op de gewenste temperatuur binnen een kookproces (zie hoofdstuk ‘Snel voorverwarmen’).
BEDIENING ▷ Toetsvergrendeling; Vergrendel alle toetsen om het bedieningspaneel schoon te maken of om te voorkomen dat het toestel ongewenst in werking treedt. Hou hiervoor de functie net zolang ingedrukt tot de toetsvergrendeling inschakeld. Toetsenbord openen Voor het snel invoeren van een functie, temperatuur of bereidingstijd kan een toetsenbord geopend worden. GEBRUIK Ovenfunctie Gebruik het ovenfunctie menu voor het bereiden van gerechten met behulp van bijvoorbeeld hetelucht, onderwarmte en grill. PROGRAMMA´S 10:15 180 °C Hetelucht • Er zijn verschillende ovenfuncties te selecteren. • Bij elke ovenfunctie kan een temperatuur en een bereidingstijd worden ingesteld. • Tevens kunnen ‘plus’ menu functies zoals snel voorverwarmen, meerfase koken en uitgestelde start worden geselecteerd. Tik hiervoor op het plus symbool.
GEBRUIK 8. GEBRUIK Stoomfunctie Stoomkoken Gezond en natuurlijk met stoomkoken blijven geur en smaak van het gerecht behouden. Bij deze kookmethode komen geen geuren vrij. Het is niet nodig om zout of extra kruiden aan het water toe te voegen. Opmerking: Na ieder gebruik van de stoomfunctie wordt het watersysteem geleegd. Hierbij is wat geluid hoorbaar.
GEBRUIK Het waterreservoir vullen Vul het reservoir altijd met schoon en koud leidingwater, flessenwater zonder toevoeging van mineralen of gedistilleerd water dat geschikt is voor consumptie. 10 15 10 10 2015 10 15 10 10 2015 1. Druk op toets ‘waterreservoir openen’ om het klepje van het waterreservoir te openen. 2. Trek het reservoir aan de handgreep uit de behuizing. 3. Open de deksel van het waterreservoir en reinig het waterreservoir met schoon water. 4.
GEBRUIK Een ‘Stoom’-functie gebruiken Kies een stoomfunctie die past bij het te bereiden gerecht. Raadpleeg hiervoor de Functies tabel. U kunt ook de info tab raadplegen. Tik hiervoor op de tab onderaan het scherm om informatie over de geselecteerde functie op te vragen. 1. Schakel de oven in met de ‘Aan/uit toets’. 2. Zet het gerecht in de oven. 3. Tik op ‘STOMEN’ om het stoomfunctie menu te openen. PROGRAMMA´S 10:15 100 °C Stomen 4. Kies een stoomfunctie (zie hoofdstuk ‘Functie-instelscherm’). 5.

GEBRUIK Een ‘Extra’s’ functie gebruiken Open het ‘Extra’s’ scherm om het combi functie menu te openen of om de oven snel voor te verwarmen. Ook kunnen een reinigingsprogramma, verwarm functies of automatische programma’s gekozen worden. 10:15 OVEN EXTRA’S STOMEN Tik op ‘EXTRA’S’ om de extra functies van het toestel te tonen.
GEBRUIK • Programma’s (zie hoofdstuk ‘Aanvullende functies): ▷ Favorieten ▷ Automatische programma’s Snel voorverwarmen Gebruik deze functie voor het snel voorverwarmen van de oven. Gebruik deze stand niet met een gerecht in de ovenruimte. Wanneer de oven is voorverwarmd tot de ingestelde temperatuur, is het voorverwarmen klaar en is de oven gereed voor het bereiden van het gerecht. Snel voorverwarmen gebruiken 1. Schakel de oven in met de ‘Aan/uit toets’. 2.
GEBRUIK Combi • Er zijn 3 verschillende combi functies te selecteren. ▷ Hetelucht + Stoomniveau 1 ▷ Hetelucht + Stoomniveau 2 ▷ Hetelucht + Stoomniveau 3 • Bij elke combi-functie kan een temperatuur en een bereidingstijd worden ingesteld (zie hoofdstuk ‘Stoomtabellen’). • Tevens kunnen ‘Plus’ menu functies zoals ‘meerfase koken’ en een uitgestelde start worden geselecteerd. Tik hiervoor op het plus symbool. Zie hoofdstuk ‘Gebruik van het ‘Plus’ menu’.
GEBRUIK 8. Kies eventueel aanvullende instellingen met het ‘Plus’ menu 9. Start de bereiding van het gerecht met de bevestigingstoets.
GEBRUIK Functies tabel Raadpleeg onderstaande tabel voor het kiezen van de juiste functie. Lees ook de instructies op de verpakking voor het bereiden van het gerecht. • Gebruik alleen glazen schalen die bestand zijn tegen een temperatuur van 230 °C. Functie Beschrijving Ovenfuncties Hetelucht • Het gerecht wordt verwarmd door hete lucht die vanuit de achterkant van de oven wordt aangevoerd. • Deze functie maakt gebruik van gelijkmatige verhitting en is ideaal voor bakken. • Plaats de bakplaat op niveau 2.
GEBRUIK Functie Beschrijving Hetelucht + Onderwarmte • Het gerecht wordt verwarmd met zowel hete lucht als onderwarmte. • Deze functie wordt gebruikt voor een knapperig en bruin resultaat. • Plaats de bakplaat of het ovenrooster op niveau 2. • Aanbevolen temperatuur: 200 °C • Voorverwarmen wordt aanbevolen. Onderwarmte + Ventilator • Het gerecht wordt verwarmd door het onderste verwarmingselement in combinatie met de ventilator. • De warmte circuleert langs het gerecht.
GEBRUIK Functie Beschrijving Grill • Het gerecht wordt verwarmd door het grillelement. • Deze functie kan gebruikt worden voor het gratineren van boterhammen, het roosteren van brood en saucijsjes. • Plaats het ovenrooster op niveau 4 of 5 en de bakplaat op niveau 2. • Maximaal toegestane temperatuur is 230 °C. • Controleer regelmatig de bereiding. Door de hoge temperatuur kan het vlees snel aanbranden. • Verwarm 5 minuten voor.
GEBRUIK Functie Beschrijving Pro roosteren • Deze stand bevat een automatische verwarmcyclus. • Het vlees wordt eerst op hoge temperatuur dichtgeschroeid door hete lucht en het bovenste verwarmingselement. • Hierna wordt het gerecht langzaam gegaard bij de lage, vooraf ingestelde temperatuur, met de bovenste en onderste verwarmingselementen. • Deze functie is geschikt voor vlees, gevogelte en vis. • Aanbevolen temperatuur: 180 °C 3 2 Steam functies Stomen • Het gerecht wordt bereid met stoom.
GEBRUIK Functie Beschrijving Combi stoom functies Maximum 3 Medium 2 Minimum 1 COMBI: Hetelucht + Stoomniveau 1, 2, 3 • Het gerecht wordt bereid met hete lucht in combinatie met stoom. • Stoom wordt met regelmatige tussenpozen in de ovenruimte gespoten. • MAXIMUM: bereiden van schnitzel, biefstuk en andere dunne stukken vlees. • MEDIUM: opwarmen van koude/bevroren gerechten, bereiden van visfilet en gegratineerde groente.
GEBRUIK Functie Beschrijving Warmhouden • Deze functie wordt gebruikt om reeds bereide gerechten warm te houden. • Aanbevolen temperatuur: 60 °C Stoomreinigen • Met deze functie en een vochtige doek verwijdert u eenvoudig vet en vuil van de ovenwanden. • Gebruik deze functie alleen als de oven volledig is afgekoeld. De stoomgenerator wekt stoom op die met regelmatige tussenpozen in de ovenruimte wordt gespoten. • Na het inweken kunnen voedselresten met een vochtige doek verwijderd worden.

GEBRUIK Stoom toevoegen Stoom kan toegevoegd worden voor aanvang van de bereiding (Stoom toevoegen 1-3X) of tijdens de bereiding (Stoom toevoegen). Beide functies zijn te vinden via het ‘Plus’ menu in het oven functie menu. Stoom toevoegen (1-3X) wordt aanbevolen voor het bereiden van: • vlees: rundvlees, kalfsvlees, varkensvlees, wild, gevogelte, lamsvlees, vis, worstjes (aan het eind van het kookproces). Het vlees wordt sappiger en zachter en met stoominjectie hoeft u niet te bedruipen.
GEBRUIK 5. Bevestig de keuze met de bevestigingstoets. Er verschijnt een klein symbool met het gekozen aantal stoomcycli onder het plus symbool. Tijdens een stoomcyclus veranderen het symbool (en een stip op de buitenste cirkel) van kleur. 6. Start de bereiding met de bevestigingstoets. 10 21 165 °C 180 °C 23:54 10:45 Klein symbool geeft aan dat Stoom toevoegen (1-3X) is geactiveerd. Stoom toevoegen Stoom toevoegen kan tijdens de bereiding worden gekozen (na het starten van een functie).
GEBRUIK 2. Tik op het plus symbool om het ‘Plus’ menu te openen. 3. Tik op ‘UITGESTELDE START’ om de functie te openen. UITGESTELDE START 10:45 4. Kies een starttijd (zie hoofdstuk ‘Functie-instelscherm’). 5. Bevestig de ingestelde starttijd met de bevestigingstoets. Het ‘uitgestelde starttijd’ icoontje verschijnt onder het plus symbool ter indicatie van activering. De uitgestelde starttijd kan ongedaan gemaakt worden door de instelling terug te zetten naar de dagtijd 6.
GEBRUIK Meerfase koken • Open de functie ‘Meerfase koken’ via het ‘Plus’ menu. Zie hoofdstuk ‘Gebruik van het ‘Plus’ menu’. • Met deze functie kunt u tot drie functies binnen één kookproces combineren. • Kies verschillende instellingen om de bereidingswijze af te stemmen op uw voorkeur. 1. Tik op het plus symbool om het ‘Plus’ menu te openen. 2. Tik op MEERFASE KOKEN om de functie te openen (alleen te openen als nog geen bereiding is gestart). De instellingen van fase 1 zijn zichtbaar.

Verwijder een fase door op het kruisje naast de instellingen te tikken.

GEBRUIK • Programma’s: ▷ Favorieten ▷ Automatische programma’s Verwarmen • Regenereren ▷ Deze functie wordt gebruikt om reeds bereide gerechten op te warmen. Door het gebruik van stoom is er geen verlies van kwaliteit. Smaak en textuur blijven behouden als bij vers bereid. Er kunnen verschillende gerechten gelijktijdig worden geregenereerd. • Bordenwarmen ▷ Deze functie wordt gebruikt wanneer u servies wilt verwarmen (borden, kopjes) zodat het geserveerde langer warm blijft.
GEBRUIK 3. Kies de gewenste verwarmfunctie (regenereren, bordenwarmen, ontdooien of warmhouden). Pas eventueel de instellingen aan. 4. Start de functie met de bevestigingstoets. Programma’s • Favorieten ▷ In ‘FAVORIETEN’ kunt u uw eigen opgeslagen recepten selecteren. Zie ook ‘Opslaan van een bereidingswijze’. • Automatische programma’s ▷ Met de automatische programma’s kunt u gerechten bereiden door te kiezen uit een lijst voorgeprogrammeerde gerechten.

GEBRUIK Opslaan van een bereidingswijze Een functie/bereiding is actief (de oven is gestart). TOEVOEGEN AAN FAVORIETEN Voeg uw huidige instellingen toe aan de favorieten TOETSVERGRENDELING Om het dashboard schoon te maken of om toe te passen als kinderslot 1. Open het ‘Plus’ menu en tik op ‘TOEVOEGEN AAN FAVORIETEN’. TOEVOEGEN AAN FAVORIETEN 2. Geef de bereiding een naam door de betreffende letters te selecteren. Tik op het ‘pijltje met kruisje’ symbool als u een foutief gekozen letter wilt wissen. 3.

REINIGEN Het toestel reinigen Reinig de oven regelmatig om te voorkomen dat vet- en voedselresten zich ophopen, vooral op de oppervlakken aan de binnen- en buitenkant, de deur en de afdichting. • Schakel de toetsvergrendeling in om te voorkomen dat het toestel ongewenst in werking treedt. • Reinig de oppervlakken aan de buitenkant met een zachte doek en warm water met zeep. • Veeg na met een schone natte doek en droog de oppervlakken af.
REINIGEN Het filter van de watertank reinigen Als het filter van de watertank vuil is, kunt u deze afspoelen onder de kraan. 1. Verwijder het aanzuigpijpje met het filter. 2. Spoel het af onder de kraan en plaats het weer terug. Zorg ervoor dat het filter de bodem van de watertank raakt. Ontkalken Tijdens het stoomproces blijven mineralen achter in het stoomsysteem. Deze moeten van tijd tot tijd worden verwijderd.
REINIGEN van het apparaat in optimale hygiënische toestand verkeren, de goede smaak van het gerecht behouden blijft en de levensduur van het apparaat wordt verlengd. • Voor het stoomproces wordt water gebruikt. Water bevat calcium en magnesium. Door verhitting verdampt het water en blijven alleen mineralen achter (niet schadelijk voor mensen). • Wanneer de ontkalkingscyclus wordt onderbroken voordat de cyclus is beëindigd, moet het programma opnieuw vanaf het begin worden gestart.
REINIGEN • Maak het toestel spanningsloos door de stekker uit de stopcontact te verwijderen of de zekering in de meterkast uit te schakelen! • Let op; de halogeenlamp kan zeer heet zijn! Gebruik bescherming voor het verwijderen van de lamp. 1. Draai de vier schroeven van het afdekplaatje los. Verwijder het afdekplaatje, het glas en de afdichtring. 2. Verwijder de defecte halogeenlamp en vervang deze door een nieuwe. 3. Plaats het afdekplaatje, het glas en de afdichtring weer terug.
REINIGEN B A Plaatsen van de ovendeur 1. Houd de deur voor de oven in een hoek van ongeveer 45°. 2. Schuif de scharnieren in de scharnieropeningen en controleer of beide scharnieren goed geplaatst zijn. 3. Open de deur volledig. 4. Til de blokkeerhendels iets op (A) en klap deze naar de oven (B). 5. Sluit langzaam de ovendeur en controleer of de scharnieren goed in de openingen zitten. Als de ovendeur niet volledig opent of sluit, controleer dan of de scharnieren juist geplaatst zijn.
REINIGEN Plaats in omgekeerde volgorde het glas weer terug. De markeringen op de ovendeur en het glas (een halve cirkel) moeten samenvallen.
PROBLEMEN OPLOSSEN Algemeen Raadpleeg het onderstaande storingsoverzicht als er problemen zijn met uw oven. Mochten de problemen niet verholpen kunnen worden neem dan contact op met de klantenservice. Het gerecht blijft rauw • Controleer of de timer is ingesteld en er op de bevestigingstoets is gedrukt. • Is de deur goed gesloten? • Controleer of er geen zekering is doorgebrand en er geen stroomonderbreker is geactiveerd.
PROBLEMEN OPLOSSEN Er is een klikgeluid hoorbaar wanneer de oven in bedrijf is, in het bijzonder in de ontdooifunctie. • Dit is normaal. De hoofdzekering slaat regelmatig uit. • Raadpleeg een servicemonteur. De display geeft de foutcode ERROR XX ... (XX geeft het nummer van de fout weer). • Er zit een storing in de elektronische module. Koppel het apparaat enkele minuten los van de stroomvoorziening. Sluit het vervolgens weer aan en stel de dagtijd in.

The oven has a wide range of settings enabling you to select the correct cooking method every time. This manual shows how you can best use this oven. In addition to information about operating the oven, you will also find background information that may be useful when using the appliance.

Culisensor • Culisensor; can be used to measure the core temperature of the dish.
YOUR OVEN Only close the oven door when the telescopic guide rails are returned completely back into the oven cavity. Door • The door switches interrupt the operation of the oven when the oven door is opened during use. The oven resumes operation when the door is closed. • This oven has a ‘Soft close door system’. When closing the oven door, this system dampens the movement, from a certain angle, and silently closes the oven door.

INITIAL USE Initial use • Clean the oven interior and accessories with hot water and washing-up liquid. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, abrasive sponges and similar. • The oven will emit a particular odor when it is used for the first time; this is normal. Make sure that there is good ventilation during initial use.
INITIAL USE 1. Tap on the arrows above and below the time or swipe over the time to adjust it. 2. For fast entry, tap in the centre of the time display; a pop-up keyboard will appear on which the desired time can be typed (see ‘Opening the Keyboard’ chapter). 3. INITIAL USE Checking the water hardness You can measure water hardness using the ‘paper test strip’ supplied with your appliance. Opening the keyboard A keyboard can be opened for fast entry of a function, temperature or cooking time. USE Oven function Use the oven function menu to cook dishes using, for instance, hot air, bottom heat and grill. USE Steam function Steam cooking Healthy and natural, steam cooking retains the colour and taste of the dish. No odors are released using this cooking method. It is not necessary to add salt or extra herbs to the water in the reservoir. Note: The water system empties each time the steam function is finished. This action is audiable and is part of the steam oven’s normal operation. Advantages of steam cooking • Steam cooking (stewing, cooking, roasting) starts before the oven temperature reaches 100 °C.
USE Filling the water reservoir Always fill the reservoir with clean and cold tap water, bottled water without added minerals or distilled water suitable for consumption. 10 15 10 10 2015 10 15 10 10 2015 1. Bottom heat + Fan • Heating by means of the lower heating element. The heat is distributed by the fan.
USE Function Description Grill • Heating by means of the grill element. • This mode can be used for grilling a smaller amount of open sandwiches, beer sausages, and for toasting bread. • Place the oven rack is on level 4 and the baking tray on level 2. • Maximum allowed temperature 230 °C. • Monitor the cooking process at all times. The dish may burn quickly due to the high temperature. • Preheat for 5 minutes. 4 2 Large Grill • Heating by means of the upper element and grill element.

USE Function Description Combi steam functions Combi: Hot air + steam 1 / 2 / 3 High 3 Medium 2 Low 1 • Heating by means of hot air in combination with steam. • The steam is sprayed into the oven cavity at regular intervals. • HIGH: cooking escalopes, steaks and smaller chuncks of meat. • MEDIUM: reheating cool/frozen meals, cooking fish fillets and vegetables au gratin. • LOW: cooking large chuncks of meat (roast, whole chicken), baking risen dough (bread and rolls), cooking lasagna etc.
USE Function Description Steam clean • With this function and a damp cloth, you can easily remove grease and dirt from the oven walls. • Use this function only when the oven has cooled down fully. Steam is sprayed into the oven cavity at regular intervals. • After soaking, food residues can be removed using a damp cloth. Culisensor Roasting with the culisensor For roasting with the culisensor, set the desired core temperature of the dish.

USE Add steam Steam can be added to the cooking process before cooking is started (Add steam 1-3X) or during cooking (Add steam). Both functions can be found in the ‘Plus’ menu in the oven function menu. Add steam (1-3X) is recommended for cooking: • meat: beef, veal, pork, game, poultry, lamb, fish, sausages (at the end of the cooking process). An injection of steam will make meat juicier and softer without the need for basting. • bread, bread rolls: use steam for the first 5-10 minutes of baking.
USE 5. Confirm the setting using the confirm button. A small symbol will appear below the plus symbol indicating the selected number of steam cycles. The symbol (and the circle on the outer circle) changes colour during the steam cycle. 6. USE • Programs: ▷ Favourites ▷ Automatic programs Warming • Regenerate ▷ This function is used to warm already cooked dishes. The use of steam means there is no loss of quality. Taste and texture are preserved as though the dish is freshly-cooked. Various dishes can be regenerated simultaneously. • Plate warming ▷ This function is used when you want to warm tableware (plates, cups) so that the served food stays hotter for longer.
USE 3. Choose the desired warming function (regenerate, plate warming, defrost or keep warm). Adjust the settings if necessary (see ‘Function-setting display’ chapter). 4. Start the function using the confirm button. Programs: • Favourites ▷ You can select your own stored recipes in ‘FAVOURITES’. See also ‘Saving a cooking method’. • Automatic programs ▷ You can use ‘automatic programs’ for cooking by selecting a dish from a list of pre-programmed dishes.

ADD TO FAVOURITES Save the current cooking settings to your favourites KEY LOCK To clean the dashboard or to apply as child lock 1. Open the ‘Plus’ menu and tap on ‘ADD TO FAVOURITES’. ADD TO FAVOURITES 2. Give the dish you are preparing a name by selecting the appropriate letters. Tap on the ‘arrow with cross’ symbol if you wish to delete a letter. 3. Press on the confirm button to save the cooking method.

CLEANING Cleaning the appliance Clean the oven regularly to prevent fat and food particles from accumulating, especially on the surfaces of the interior and the exterior, the door and the seal. • Activate the child lock (to prevent that the appliance is switched on accidentally). • Clean the exterior surfaces with a soft cloth and warm soapy water. • Next wipe with a clean, damp cloth and dry the surfaces. • Remove splashes and stains on the interior surfaces with a cloth and soapy water.
CLEANING Cleaning the water tank filter If the water tank filter is dirty, you can clean it under the tap. 1. Remove the suction tube with the filter. 2. Clean it out under the tap and put it back into position. Ensure that the filter touches the base of the water tank Descaling During the steam process, there can be an accumulation of mineral deposit in the steam system. This needs to be removed from time to time. You need to carry out this task when the ‘Appliance needs descaling’ notification is shown.
CLEANING • Water is used for the steaming process. Water contains calcium and magnesium. Heat causes the water to condense, leaving a mineral deposit (not harmful to humans). • If the descaling cycle is interrupted prior to the end of the cycle, the program must be restarted from the beginning. Removing and cleaning the guide rails Use conventional cleaning products to clean the guide rails. • Remove the screw using a screwdriver. • Remove the guide rails from the holes in the back wall.
CLEANING • Disconnect the appliance from the power supply by removing the plug from the socket or by switching off the circuit breaker in the fuse box. • Please note: the light bulb can be very hot! Use protection to remove the bulb. 1. Remove the four screws from the cover panel. Remove the cover panel, the glass and the sealing ring. 2. Remove the faulty halogen lamp and replace it with a new one. 3. Replace the cover panel, the glass and the sealing ring.
CLEANING 4. Remove the door by lifting and tilting it towards the oven (C). The hinges need to come out of the slots in the oven. B A Install the oven door. 1. Hold the door at an angle of approximately 45° in front of the oven. 2. Insert the hinges into the slots and make sure they are both positioned correctly. 3. Open the door to the fully open position. 4. Lift both hinge latches and move them towards the oven. 5. Gently close the oven door and make sure that it closes correctly.
CLEANING 3. The inner glass (B) (depending on the model) can be removed by carefully lifting (5) and shifting (6) it to removing it from the lower support. Also remove the rubber spacers (C) from the inner glass. Install the glass in reverse order.
SOLVING PROBLEMS General If you have problems with your oven, then consult the error overview below. Should the problems persist, then please contact the Customer Services Department. The food stays raw • Check whether the timer has been set and you have pressed the ‘confirm key’. • Is the door closed properly? • Check whether a fuse has blown or a circuit breaker has been activated. The food is overcooked or undercooked • Check whether the correct cooking time has been set.
SOLVING PROBLEMS Clicking sounds can be heard when the oven is working, particularly in the defrost setting. • This is normal. The circuit breaker switches off regularly. • Consult a service technician. The display gives an error code, ERROR XX ... (XX indicates the number of the error). • There is a fault in the electronic module. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply for a few minutes. Then reconnect it and set the current time. • Consult a service technician if the error persists.
YOUR OVEN AND THE ENVIRONMENT Disposal of the appliance and packaging This product is made from sustainable materials. However, the appliance must be disposed of responsibly at the end of its useful life. The government can provide you with information about this. The packaging of the appliance can be recycled. The following materials have been used: • cardboard • polyethylene wrap (PE) • CFC-free polystyrene (hard PS foam) Dispose of these materials responsibly in accordance with legal provisions.
