Delete all old messages
You can only delete old (reviewed) messages. You cannot delete new messages
until you review them. You cannot retrieve deleted messages.
Using the telephone base:
Press X/DELETE when the phone is not in use. The telephone announces,
“To delete all old messages, press DELETE again.” Press X/DELETE again. All
previously reviewed messages are erased and the telephone announces, “All
old messages deleted.”

Press MENU in idle mode.
Press CID or DIR to highlight Answering sys, then press SELECT .
Press CID or DIR to highlight Delete all old, then press SELECT . The
screen shows Delete all old messages?
Press YES to confirm. The screen displays Deleting... then All old msgs
deleted! There is a confirmation tone.
Using a cordless handset:
Press MENU in idle mode.
Press CID or DIR to highlight Answering sys, then press SELECT .
Press CID or DIR to highlight Delete all old, then press SELECT . The
screen shows Delete all old messages?
Press YES to confirm. The screen displays Deleting... then All old msgs
deleted! There is a confirmation tone.
NOTE: You can only delete old messages, which are messages you have previously reviewed.
