Options while on calls
Volume control
To adjust the listening volume:
While on a call, press VOL+ or VOL– on
the speakerphone to adjust the
listening volume.
NOTES:
Listening volume settings are independent for each speakerphone.
When the listening volume reaches the minimum or maximum setting, you
hear two beeps.
Mute
The mute function turns off the speakerphone microphone. You
can hear the caller, but the caller cannot hear you.
To mute a call:
• Press MUTE on the speakerphone to turn
off the speakerphone microphone. The
voice prompt "Mute on" plays. The MUTE
light on the speakerphone turns on and a
short beep plays every 30 seconds.
To take a call off mute:
• Press MUTE on the speakerphone to resume the
two-way conversation. You hear the voice prompt "Mute off".
