Deskset Quick-Dial Keys
On the Deskset, Quick-Dial entries are only available if you have assigned PFKs as
Quick-Dial keys. After assigning Quick-Dial keys, you or a Deskset user can assign phone
numbers to the keys.
To edit Quick-Dial entries:
1. Log in, either as administrator or a user (enter an extension number and the user’s
password, if needed).
2. In the navigation menu at left, click Extension Settings, then Feature Keys.
3. If necessary, select the desired Deskset extension number from the Select an
Extension list. When logging in as a user, you cannot select a different extension.
4. On the Programmable Feature Keys page, enter a name and number for every
Quick-Dial entry you want to create. Any hyphens in phone numbers are ignored.
Enter P for a pause in the number.
5. Click to save the entries or click to refresh the page without saving
the changes.
6. To verify the entries, try a Quick Dial key on the Deskset, as shown in Figure 15.
