Group Paging
Description
This telephone option lets users simultaneously page all system extensions with
MLS-18D, MLS-12D, MLS-12, and MLS-6 phones. When paging, the caller
hears a beep and begins speaking; the caller’s voice is then heard on the
speakers of all idle MLS-18D, MLS-12D, MLS-12, and MLS-6 phones.

You can use this option manually, or you can store it on an Auto Dial button.
MLC-6, MDC 9000, MDW 9000, and standard phones will not receive
group-page announcements.
If a user leaves the microphone on for hands-free answer on intercom
(HFAI), the microphone is turned off when that phone receives a group
page; the user must lift the handset or press [
Mic ] to answer the page. After
a group page, the microphone is turned on again.
Changing Settings
To store (or remove) the group page option remotely from extension 10:

Press [ Feature ] [ 0 ] [ 0 ].
Press left [ Intercom ] twice.
Press right [ Intercom ].
Dial the two-digit number of the extension (11–21) for which you want the
option stored (or removed).
Press the Auto Dial button on which you want the option stored (or removed).
To store the option, press [ Intercom ] [ ★ ] [ 7 ].
To remove the option, press [ Mic ].
Press [ Feature ] [ 0 ] [ 0 ].
