Setting the Number of Rings for a Specified Line

You may want to set a particular line to be answered always after a set number of rings.

To change the number of rings for a line:

1. Enter administration mode.

2. To change system parameter

press

3. To set the number of rings before answer

press

4. To set the number of rings for a specified line

press

5. Enter the line number you want to change.

6. Enter the number of rings before answer (1-99).

A confirmation message plays.

7. Repeat as required for additional lines.

Note:

Setting the number of rings for a particular line to a large number effectively causes the CLASSIC

MAIL system to not to answer incoming calls on that line.
