6. The CLASSIC MAIL system comes with two special interposed line cables. Plug one
of these cables into the line C jack (the jack that your outside line cable was plugged
into originally) of your Merlin Control Unit. See Figure 3D. If you have a Merlin Plus
Control Unit, see Figure 3E.
7. Plug the other end of this cable into the interposed line 1 jack of the CLASSIC MAIL
system. See Figure 3D or 3E.
8. Plug the second interposed line cable into the line D jack (the jack that your second
outside line cable was plugged into originally) of your Merlin Control Unit.
