CONSIDERATIONS
The person to whom you are sending a message must have a display
phone. However, you do not need a display phone in order to send a
message.
For the Return Call, Delete Message, Next Message, and Scroll features,
you can use a dial code instead of programming a button.
Each display phone can store up to 10 messages. Once a display phone
has stored the maximum 10 messages, no other messages can be stored in
the message box. If the receiving display phone has a full message box,
the person sending the message is alerted in one of two ways that the
message has been denied.
A person who is sending a message from a phone without a display
hears a denial tone.
A person who is sending a message from a display phone sees on the
display, “Message Box Full.”
If the system is shut down for a moment, you need to press Message
again to read your messages. If there is a power failure, all messages in
your message box are deleted.
