SYMPTOM: A VOICE
TERMINAL
SPONTANEOUSLY
Possible Cause: Voice terminal is connected to the port that is administered
for Busy Buster (BB).
PLACES CALLS.

Do This If
Check the control unit to
see if the voice terminal is
plugged into jack 18 (BB
default) or the
administered BB port.
Move the voice terminal
to another port
You need that jack for the
voice terminal
Then
The voice terminal should
no longer spontaneously
place calls.
Administer BB to a
different jack.
SYMPTOM: ALL VOICE
TERMINAL LIGHTS ARE
Possible Cause 1: Control unit is not receiving power.
OUT WITH NO DIAL TONE.

Do This

If
Set the control unit
power switch to Off and
Ihen back to On. Doing
$0 resets the control unit.
Then
The green power light on
the control unit is on and
the trouble remains
Call your equipment
supplier for assistance.
The green power light is The problem was
on and the trouble is corrected when you reset

The red warning light on
the control unit is on
Go to Possible Cause 4.
Possible Cause 2: Switch-controlled power outlet.
Do This
Make sure the control
unit is not plugged into
an outlet controlled by a
wall switch.

controlled outlet
If the control unit is
plugged into a switch-
controlled outlet, turn on
the switch
