The module serial numbers also appear in the System Information report.
A serial number indicates the year and month of manufacture, the location of
manufacture, and a counter number that is unique to that module. The digits
are arranged as follows:
First two digits are the year manufactured.
The next two letters show the place of manufacture.
The next two digits are the month manufactured.
The last six digits are the unique counter number.
For example, in the serial number 99DR11034567, 99 is the year, DR
represents Denver, 11 indicates November, and 034567 is the unique
counter.
Changing the Interdigit Timeout
Interval
9
Interdigit timers are used by the MERLIN MAGIX system to determine when a
user originating an outside call has completed dialing the digits. The
information is necessary to allow the system to perform subsequent operations.
If your system has a 5 digit dial plan, the interdigit time-out between the 4th and
the 5th digit is fixed at 5 seconds. This cannot be changed.
