5. Create an Allowed List with 911, and assign it to Outward Restricted and
Emergency Service Restricted extensions that should be allowed to call the
911 Emergency Service.
6. Check that the trunks are of an eligible type and are not being used as
Music-On-Hold, Loudspeaker Paging, data, E911 Adjunct, or maintenance
trunks, or are not being used in another partition.
7. Verify the ALI or billing information for the trunks in each partition.
8. Remove “911” from any of the programmable ARS tables.
9. Assign trunks to each partition.
10. Remove any non-working or unreliable trunk from any partition.
