b. If the line programming matches the report above, go to Step 7. If the
programming does not match the report above, verify which lines were
removed and repeat from above as appropriate.
7. Using Centralized Telephone programming, assign features to meet the
customer’s needs. For example, set ringing options for outside lines and
ICOM lines, and assign Automatic Line selection preference.
a. From the System Programming menu, select Cntr-Prg (
).
b. From the Centralized Programming menu, select Program
extension ().
c. Enter the extension number and select Enter (
).
d. Select Start (
).
e. Set the appropriate ringing on the lines to meet the customer’s needs
by selecting the line and entering one of the following codes:
■ *35—Ring Off
■ *36—Delay Ring
■ *37—Ring On
■ *345—All lines Ring Off
■ *346—All lines Delay Ring
■ *347—All lines Ring On
f. Set the Automatic Line Selection option:
1. Select ICOM Ring (
8+ ).
2. Enter *14—Auto Line selection sequence Programming.
3.
8+ —Intercom Ring.
This Procedure assumes the customer wants the Automatic
Line Selection feature for the MDW 9031 telephone to
automatically select the ICOM line. This may vary with the
individual customer.
