The following system conditions apply to the 100R INA and 100 DCD modules.

For information on the Router Management interface, refer to the
documentation packaged with the 100R INA and 100 DCD modules.
The 100R INA and 100 DCD modules have the same maintenance options as
the 100 DS1 module except for the following. These exceptions apply only to
the 100R INA and 100 DCD modules and not the 100 DS1 module.
Idle Conditions -
System Forced
Idle
When the system is in forced idle condition, you can have
router traffic on the 100R INA and 100 DCD modules. The
system can also be forced idle when there is router traffic
on the modules.
Slot Busy-Out 100R INA and 100 DCD modules can be busied-out even
when there is router traffic on the modules.
System Erase
(Frigid Start)
When a Frigid Start occurs, all programming for the 100R
INA and 100 DCD modules is returned to the factory setting
and all router service is disrupted. All administration must
be reprogrammed.
System Restart
(Cold Start)
After a Cold Start occurs, the programming for the 100R
INA and 100 DCD modules remains. Router service is
disrupted but is re-established after the cold start.
Warm Start After a warm start, all the programming remains. However,
router service may disconnect during a warm start.
Board
Replacement
You must power down the MERLIN MAGIX system before
replacing a 100R INA or 100 DCD module. Hot swap is not
supported for either module.
