Channel Selection 4
All channels are assigned to the system by default. The 100R INA and
100 DCD modules can accommodate up to 23 PRI channels or 24 T1
channels. Use the following sequence to assign a channel to the router or DSU
(100 DCD).
Console Procedure SysProg
→Start→Lines and Trunks→
More→ More→CSU/DSU→Type Slot no.→
Enter→ Channel Sel→Type Channel no.→
Enter
Note: Next followed by Enter can be used to enter
consecutive channels for this screen only.
PC Procedure
→→→More→More→→Type Slot
no.
→1→→Type Channel no.→1
Note:  followed by 1 can be used to enter
consecutive channels for this screen only.
■ After you enter the channel
■ For T1 configurations, you can only select a channel for the router if
you have administered the channel as Unequipped or All
Unequipped in the T1 properties. Unequipped is the factory setting.
■ For PRI configurations, you can select a channel only if the B-
channel is not assigned to a B-channel group.
