Connecting the MERLIN II Attendant

CAUTION: Before initial
Attendant, set switches 1
(up) .
installation of the MERLIN II
and 2 on the back panel to off
Follow the steps below to install the MERLIN II
Attendant:

Connect a basic Touch-Tone phone to the port on the
Basic Telephone (012) Module that you have
administered for the MERLIN II Attendant.

Lift the handset.

Dial #31 to turn on the Privacy feature to prevent the
MERLIN II Attendant and the receptionist from
answering a call at the same time.

Hangup the handset.
