Unsupervised Transfer
The Automated Attendant Service transfers calls without waiting to see if the extension
requested is busy or is not answered.
This reduces the time the MERLIN MAIL system
port is tied up on a call and is the recommended type of transfer. See also Supervised
Transfer and No Transfer.
Voice Mail Greeting
The greeting that plays to subscribers who call into the Voice Mail for messages.
Voice Mail Service
Allows subscribers to send messages to other subscribers, retrieve their own mes-
sages, record their own greetings, and create their own passwords.
