A pool dial-out code can be programmed on Personal Speed
Dial and System Speed Dial numbers. When a pool dial-out
code is included in the number dialed, pause characters may
need to be programmed immediately following the dial-out code
to allow time to receive a local telephone company dial tone.
Press the Conf button to enter the Flash special character,
which simulates pressing the Recall button, in a Personal
Speed Dial or System Speed Dial telephone number.
Telephone numbers that are dialed by using a Personal Speed
Dial code are stored by Saved Number Dial. If the number
includes a special character, such as Pause or Stop, the
special characters do not work when the number is redialed by
using Last Number Dial. Telephone numbers that are dialed by
using a System Speed Dial code are not stored by Saved
Number Dial.
When Personal Speed Dial or System Speed Dial is used to dial
an outgoing call, the actual digits dialed by the system appear
on the report. However, when a marked System Speed Dial
number is used, the Speed Dial code prints on the report rather
than the digits dialed.
Both Personal and System Speed Dial can be used to dial the
extension to which a call is being transferred.
