Troubleshooting
PROBLEM:
Calls are not being transferred properly.
Possible Cause
Corrective Action
The Automated Attendant Service Make sure the menu script matches

If the problem involves the system
operator, be sure the proper
extension has been designated for
that person. On the MERLIN
MAIL—ML system, check the setting
for system operator’s extension; also
on the MERLIN LEGEND system,
check the setting for “Unassigned”
under “Options.”

Callers hear ringing, but the system does not answer.

Corrective Action
This is normal when all the the system
ports are busy.
