Symptom: A particular outside line does not ring. Other lines do ring.
Possible Cause
1.
Wiring between the network
interface and control unit is
faulty.
2.
Local telephone company line
is faulty.

Ringing
Recommended Action
1. See if dial tone is present on the line that does
not ring. If not, make sure wiring between
network interface and control unit is not
damaged.
Make sure connectors are plugged in
securely.
2.
Verify local telephone company line operation
by plugging in a basic telephone at the
network interface or jack field line jack.
If dial tone is not present, arrange for the local
telephone company to repair the line.
