Choose a location for your control unit according to the instructions in your “Installa-
tion Manual.” Make sure your mounting location is as large as the TEMPLATE (at-
tached).
Hold the template up to the location; make sure it is level; then mark where the two
mounting holes should go. If you are replacing a small wall-mounted unit from previ-
ous telephone service, you may be able to use the old mounting holes.
If you are mounting the bracket on:
PLYWOOD or SHEET METAL, drill two 9/64-inch holes.
PLASTERBOARD or WOOD PANELING, drill two 3/16-inch holes (expansion bolts
recommended for mounting bracket).
Position the bracket over the holes and insert the self-tapping screws.
Tighten the screws to securely attach the mounting bracket to the surface.
Position the control unit against the mounting bracket so the mounting tabs fit into
the keyhole slots in the back of the control unit.
Gently slide the control unit straight down so the mounting tabs fit into the small top
part of the keyhole slots.
