Indicator lights
CHARGE
On when handset is charg-
ing in the telephone base.
IN USE
On when handset is in
use or when registering a
handset.
Flashes while an incoming
call is ringing, when anoth-
er telephone is in use on
the same line, or when de-
registering a handset from
the telephone base.
SPEAKER
On when speakerphone is
in use.
Ringer off.
Battery charging (animated display).
Low battery (flashing); place handset in telephone base or
charger to recharge.
Two short beeps
Press the VOLUME keys while the volume level
is already at the limit.

Handset alert tones
Four short beeps
Low battery warning.
Two beeps
Out of range during off-hook.
Confirmation tone
Command completed successfully.
Missed and un-reviewed calls.
Microphone is muted.
New voice mail messages are received.
Speakerphone is in use.
