Phone mode
You can synchronize contacts
and calendar, transfer files, use
the cell phone as modem and more
from your computer. Applications
supported in phone mode include:
Synchronization and File manager.
For other applications, use the file
transfer mode.
To use phone mode
1 Computer: Install the
Sony Ericsson PC Suite from
www.sonyericsson.com/support.
2 Computer: Start PC Suite from Start/
Programs/Sony Ericsson/PC Suite.
3 Connect a USB cable to the cell
phone and the computer.
4 Phone: Select Phone Mode.
5 Computer: Wait while Windows
installs the required drivers.
6 Computer: When PC Suite has found
your cell phone you are notified.
All applications that you can use with
your connected phone are found in the
Sony Ericsson PC Suite.

Alarms
You can set a sound or the FM radio
as an alarm.
To set an alarm
1 From standby select Menu
} Organizer } Alarms.
2 Scroll to an alarm and select Edit.
3 Scroll to Time: and select Edit.
4 Set a time and select OK.
5 Select Save.
To set a recurring alarm
1 From standby select Menu
} Organizer } Alarms.
2 Scroll to an alarm and select Edit.
3 Scroll to Recurrent: and select Edit.
4 Select Save.
To set an alarm signal
1 From standby select Menu
} Organizer } Alarms.
2 Scroll to an alarm and select Edit.
3 Scroll to Alarm Signal: and select Edit
and select the radio or a sound.
4 Scroll to an option and select Save.
Your computer must have a compatible
operating systems to use this feature:
Windows® 2000 with SP3/SP4, Windows
XP (Pro and Home) with SP1/SP2 or
Windows Vista. USB drivers are installed
automatically with the PC Suite software.
