External Loop Test
Set the data module for a loopback test:
■ If a Data Service Unit (DSU) is used, press the button.
NOTE:
Lucent Technologies does not officially support the DSU connection
While still on Test 3 of Procedure 650:
1. Enter 1 in Field 7.
2. Press
3. Press after 8000 bits are sent.
4. Press .
If either of these tests fail, see the switch maintenance manual for procedures to
correct the fault.
