Data Options and Profiles
NOTE:
In all of the above command procedures, the word ‘‘to’’ is optional.
Examples of the command without ‘‘to’’ are:
copy p1 pA
copy pA p1
copy p0 p1
Viewing an Option Profile
To display the option values for any profile, use the view command. Type
view
to display the values of the active profile. Type
view p1
to display the values of
stored profile p1. Replace p1 with p2, p3, p4, or p0 in the view command to
display their values.
NOTE:
Remember that you can display the options on your data terminal screen
and change them whenever you are in local mode (that is, not transmitting
data). To suspend data mode and enter local mode, rapidly type the
Attention sequence:
+++
. The system displays the CMD: prompt.
Viewing Individual Option Values within
the Active Profile, pA
You can also use the view command to check the value of an option within the
active profile. For example, to check the value of parity, type
view parity
. Both
the current and possible values are displayed on your data screen, for example:
current value = even
possible values = even mark odd space
