CHAPTER 4. ADMINISTRATE TASKS-SYSTEM
How to Set Date and Time
The system date and time are set using the Date and Time form (see Figure 4-2). This form is
displayed on the terminal screen and is modified using the terminal keyboard. The time must be
reset for daylight savings time. The correct time and date assure that SMDR records are correct
for the records being kept. SMDR will not work until the date and time have been entered. Use
the following procedure to set the system date and time:
1. Log in.
2. Verify that the screen displays:
enter command:
3. Enter
set time
and press [RETURN].
4. Verify that the screen displays the Date and Time form (see Figure 4-2).
