Fax modem properties
This information is used to configure supported fax modems for use with VSI-FAX.
Information Description
Queue name
Short name for this fax modem device.
Description
Short descriptive name for this fax modem device.
COM port
Serial port this fax modem device will use to communicate with VSI-FAX. Ensure that no other
modem is using the same port.
Prepare
Register your VSI-FAX software to get your Serial Number and Activation Key.
1. Go to http://www.esker.com.
2. Click Register your product at the bottom right of the Home page.
3. Enter the requested information. Refer to the VSI-FAX 6.1 registration
documentation for more details. Upon
submission, you will receive the Serial Number and Activation Key by email.
