Search the directory
Search by name
1. Press DIR
2. When an entry appears, press the dialing keys (0-9) to start a
in the directory beginning with that letter. Press CID or DIR to
scroll through the directory.
3. To see other names starting with the letters on the same
dialing key, keep pressing the key. The names appear in
alphabetical order.
For example, if you have the names Jennifer, Jessie, Kevin and
Linda in your directory:
If you press 5 (JKL) once, you see Jennifer. Press CID and
you see Jessie.
If you press 5 (JKL) twice, you see Kevin.
If you press 5 (JKL) three times, you see Linda.
If you press 5 (JKL) four times, you see 5 and then the
directory entry beginning with 5 or the next closest entry
If you press 5 (JKL)Jennifer again.
Notes
If there is no name matching the first letter of the key you press, the directory shows a name
matching the following letters of the key.
If you press a key (0-9) and no name starts with any of the letters on that key, the directory shows
the entry matching the next letter in the directory.
