Operational Description
Overview
The AT&T Fixed Wireless Services (FWS) Personal Communications
System (PCS) Wireless Access Network (PWAN) has been designed to
provide robust, high-quality telephony and data services to residential
homes using sophisticated radio technology operating in the 1850 -
1990 MHz PCS band. This chapter describes the architecture of the
PWAN and overview of both the telephony and data portions of the
airlink.
