Figure 6.27 identifies the Bosch transceiver shelf DIF unit. The TRS-
DIF unit (Digital Interface) performs the following functions: a link
module supports a link to and from the baseband shelf for the digital
baseband data, a clock and synchronization module for processing the
digital baseband data, a signal processing module, and a Central OAM
Controller for all other transceiver shelf units.
