Left hand view of the Bosch front-end unit. The FES-FE (frontend
shelf – frontend) provides amplification of TX and RX signals,
redundancy switching, gain control, diplexing, DC/DC conversation,
front panel test points (RF), LED alarm indicators, ESN capability, and
control and monitoring of status and alarm conditions.
