12. Select Edit Dot Parameters from the Edit menu.
13. For an approximate 30 mil dot, set the Dot Parameters for Type 1 to:
Valve-On Time: 0.070 sec
Dwell Time: 0.030 sec
Dispense Gap: 0.015 in
Down Speed: 2 in/sec
Down Acceleration: 300 in/sec
2
Settling Time: 0
Number of Shots: 1
Retract Speed: 3 in/sec
Retract Acceleration: 300 in/sec
2
Retract Distance: 0.250 in
Suckback: 0.000
PostDwell 0.00
14. Move the cursor to Type 2 in the Dot Parameters dialog box.
15. Set the Dot Parameter Valve-On Time to 0.250 sec, and Dwell Time to 0.050 sec.
Set all the other parameters Type 2 to the same settings established for Type 1.
> This will adjust the Valve-On Time and Dwell for Type 2 dots.
16. Click on Save.
17. Select Dry Run from the Run menu.
> Watch to see the camera locate the position of the dots.
The dispensing head will move after your response.
18. Select Wet Run from the Run menu.
> Watch to see the dots dispensed.
> Examine the board, you should notice a difference in the size of the Type 1
and Type 2 dots.
