2-2 Installation
Setting up the Dispensing System for FMW Installation
Before you begin the installation procedure, make certain that your dispensing system is
operational by following the checks below. Reference the dispensing system Operations Manual
for the location of indicated components or options.
1. Make certain that the dispensing system is ON by looking for the following indications.
> If a beacon is present, it should be ON and yellow or green. If the beacon is red,
close the dispensing system doors or press Reset on the Dispenser and Conveyor
Control panels.
> If a beacon is present, but not ON, or if there is no change after you turn the Main
Power switch or press the optional Start button, make certain that the Main Circuit
Breaker on the lower left side panel is ON, and that the system is plugged into an
electrical outlet. If the system is not plugged in, consult a service technician to plug
in the system.
> If no beacon is present, make sure that the Main Power switch on the front control
panel is ON and that the Interlock key is set to y.
2. Set the Interlock to y if possible, or call a service technician to set it for you.
3. Close the dispensing system doors, or clear the light curtain area.
4. Make sure the Main Air is set to a minimum 70 psi.
