Chapter 2: Getting to know Zenbo
Powering on / Powering off / Sleep mode
Powering on Zenbo
• When Zenbo is connected to the power adapter and charging, long press the power
button on Zenbo’s chin for at least one (1) second to power on.
• When Zenbo is connected to the power adapter and charging, long press the power
button on Zenbo’s chin for at least one (1) second, the screen will first display
charging mode and then power on.
Powering off Zenbo
Long press the power button on Zenbo’s chin for at least one (1) second, then
select OK to power off.
Sleep mode
Press the power button on Zenbo’s chin to enter sleep mode.
NOTE: You can select the following options when you long press the power button.
• Power off: Power off Zenbo
•
Restart robot: Clear the background apps to boost Zenbo’s performance; you can
also use this option to reboot the system when it hangs. You can also reboot the
system by using voice commands such as
”Hey Zenbo，重設系統” or “Hey
Zenbo，重設”

IMPORTANT! Ensure to unlock the red emergency button before powering on your
Zenbo for the first time, please refer to Chapter 1: Getting started for more details.
Power button
IMPORTANT! When an emergency situation occurs and the red emergency button is
pressed, ensure to unlock the red emergency button before using Zenbo the next time.
Turning Zenbo off in an emergency
When an abnormal situation occurs with Zenbo, press the red emergency button to
turn Zenbo off immediately.
