Thisphoneisdesignedandmanufacturednot
toexceedtheemissionlimitsforexposureto
radiofrequency(RF)energysetbytheFederal
CommunicationsCommissionoftheUnitedStates.
DuringSARtesting,thisdevicewassetto
transmitatitshighestcertiedpowerlevelinall
testedfrequencybands,andplacedinpositions
thatsimulateRFexposureinusageagainstthe
head with no separation, and near the body with
theseparationof10mm.AlthoughtheSARis
determinedatthehighestcertiedpowerlevel,the
actualSARlevelofthedevicewhileoperatingcan
bewellbelowthemaximumvalue.Thisisbecause
the phone is designed to operate at multiple power
levelssoastouseonlythepowerrequiredtoreach
the network. In general, the closer you are to a
wireless base station antenna, the lower the power
output.
Theexposurestandardforwirelessdevices
employing a unit of measurement is known as the
SpecicAbsorptionRate,orSAR.
TheSARlimitsetbytheFCCis1.6W/kg.
ThisdeviceiscompliedwithSARforgeneral
population/uncontrolledexposurelimitsin
ANSI/IEEEC95.1-1992andhadbeentestedin
accordance with the measurement methods and
proceduresspeciedinIEEE1528.
TheFCChasgrantedanEquipmentAuthorization
forthismodelphonewithallreportedSARlevels
evaluatedasincompliancewiththeFCCRF
exposureguidelines.SARinformationonthismodel
