Thisphoneisdesignedandmanufacturednot
toexceedtheemissionlimitsforexposureto
radiofrequency(RF)energysetbytheFederal
CommunicationsCommissionoftheUnitedStates.
DuringSARtesting,thisdevicewassetto
transmitatitshighestcertiedpowerlevelinall
testedfrequencybands,andplacedinpositions
thatsimulateRFexposureinusageagainstthe
head with no separation, and near the body with
theseparationof10mm.AlthoughtheSARis
determinedatthehighestcertiedpowerlevel,the
actualSARlevelofthedevicewhileoperatingcan
bewellbelowthemaximumvalue.Thisisbecause
the phone is designed to operate at multiple power
levelssoastouseonlythepowerrequiredtoreach
the network. In general, the closer you are to a
wireless base station antenna, the lower the power
output.
Theexposurestandardforwirelessdevices
employing a unit of measurement is known as the
SpecicAbsorptionRate,orSAR.
TheSARlimitsetbytheFCCis1.6W/kg.
ThisdeviceiscompliedwithSARforgeneral
population/uncontrolledexposurelimitsin
ANSI/IEEEC95.1-1992andhadbeentestedin
accordance with the measurement methods and
proceduresspeciedinIEEE1528.
TheFCChasgrantedanEquipmentAuthorization
forthismodelphonewithallreportedSARlevels
evaluatedasincompliancewiththeFCCRF
exposureguidelines.SARinformationonthismodel
