4 Using the Notebook PC

Audio/Video Connections

Connect the AV adapter as shown to use standard RCA inputs to

watch and/or record video inputs from video players or video

camcorders. Connect a television cable in order to watch and/or

record television shows or movies.

Cable (analog/digital): Connect the coaxial

cable from a paid television service (analog or

digital), roof-mounted aerial antenna, or indoor

“rabbit ears”. Attach an NTSC to PAL adapter if

necessary.

Mobile (digital): Connect the provided digital

antenna in selected models to the Notebook PC

using the adapter. The digital antenna can only

receive digital signals broadcasted in selected

regions.

Watching television programs

1. Make sure there is an optional TV tuner in your Notebook PC.

2. Make sure you can receive TV signals (test on a standard television).

3. Analog: Attach the provided NTSC or PAL adapter.

Digital: Currently NTSC. Attach the PAL adapter if necessary.

4. Connect the coaxial cable to the correct adapter.

5. Install and launch the television software in Windows operating system.
