The following describes how th e Pre -Logon Conne ct fe a tu re fun ction s from
syste m powe r-up. The a ssum ption is th a t the re is a sa ve d profile with va lid
secu rity settings m a rke d with "Us e Windows Logon use r na m e a nd pa s sword"
tha t a re a pplie d a t the tim e of Windows log on .
1. Afte r a system powe r-up, e n te r your Win dows log on dom a in, use r n a m e ,
a n d pa s sword.
2. Click OK. Th e Pre -Logon profile Sta tu s pa ge displays the progre ss of the
network con ne ction. Afte r the wire le ss a da pte r is conne cte d to the ne twork
a cce ss point, th e Sta tus pa ge clos e s a nd th e Windows us e r logs on.
● If the corre spon din g a cce ss point re je cts you r cre de ntia ls du ring the
Pre -Logon con ne ct, the profile cre de ntia ls prom pts you for your u ser
cre de ntia ls.
● Ente r your cre de n tia ls.
● Click OK. The profile is a pplie d a n d the Sta tu s pa ge displays the
progre ss of the conn e ction sta tus until you a re logge d onto Windows.
● Click Ca n c e l on th e Cre de n tia ls pa ge to s e le ct a noth e r profile .
