Soft AP mode (Windows® XP/Vista/7)

The ASUS PCE-N10 WLAN Card supports the Soft AP mode. In this mode, the

WLAN card acts as a virtual AP.

IMPORTANT: Before configuring the Soft AP mode, connect your computer to a

wired network to provide network access for your wireless clients.

To switch to the Soft AP mode:

1. Click AP button, located on the lower

left corner, switch to the Software AP

mode.

2. Clink General table, then, click ICS

button to enable ICS.

3.Select a network(station) from the

available networks list, Click Apply.

The picture indicates that your WLAN card

has switched to the Soft AP mode

successfully after you click OK.
