4-5 Synchronizing with a PC

Changing information to synchronize

By default,ActiveSync does not automatically synchronize all utlook information. You can use

ActiveSyncoptionstoturnsynchronizationforspecicinformationtypesonandoff:

1. On the Home screen, press Start > ActiveSync.

2. Press Menu > Options.

3. Do one or more of the following:

 • Selectthecheckboxfortheitemsyouwanttosynchronize.

 • Clearthecheckboxforanyitemsyoudonotwanttosynchronize.

 • TocustomizesynchronizationofaPC,selectthePCnamethenpressMenu > Settings.

 • Tocustomizesynchronizationofaparticulartypeofinformation,selecttheinformationtypethen

press Settings.

 • TostopsynchronizingwithaPCcompletely,selectthePCnameandpressMenu > Delete.

NOTE E-mailcanbesynchronizedwithonlyonePC.
