Inserting the SIM
card and battery
Your SIM card contains account
information such as your phone number
and voicemail access number. To use your
smartphone’s phone, email, or web
features, you need to insert a SIM card. If a
SIM card is not included in your
smartphone box, your network operator
will provide you with one.
To take advantage of the high-speed data
connection available on your smartphone,
you need to have a 3G SIM card. A 3G SIM
card has “3G” on it.
1 Holding your smartphone screen side
down, use two or more fingers to press
against the battery door to release it,
and then slide the door off the back of
your smartphone.
