Storing your device for long periods of time
If you need to store your device for a long period of time, we
recommend following these guidelines:
• Chargeyourdevicetoaround50%,thenpowerdowntoavoid
additional battery use.
• DONOTfullychargeyourdevice,ifyoustoreyourdevicewhen
its battery is fully charged for an extended period of time, the
battery may lose some capacity, leading to shorter battery life.
• DONOTfullydrainyourdevice,ifyoustoreyourdevicewhenits
battery is fully discharged for an extended period of time, the
battery could fall into a deep discharge state, which renders it
incapable of holding a charge.
• Placeyourdeviceinacoolanddryenvironmentthatislessthan
90° F (32° C).
• Ifyoustoreyourdeviceforlongerthansixmonths,chargeits
batterytoaround50%everysixmonths.
• Afterremovingyourdevicefromstorage,itmayrequire20
minutes of charging with the original adapter before you can
use it.
