Removing a Micro-SIM card
CAUTION: Be extra careful when handling a micro-SIM card. ASUS is not responsible for any loss or
damage incurred to your micro-SIM card.
To remove a micro-SIM card:
1. Turn o your device.
2. Locate the groove on the lower-right corner.
CAUTION! Be careful when you pry open the cover.
3. Pry the cover loose and then pull the rear cover o.
CAUTION! Be careful when you pry open the cover.
WARNING!
• DO NOT use tools like screwdrivers to remove the rear cover.
• DO NOT pry the micro USB port.
4. Remove the battery.
5. Insert the micro SIM card into one of the slots, then put rear
cover back in place.
CAUTION!
• Donotusesharptoolsorsolventonyourdevicetoavoid
scratches on it.
• UseonlyastandardmicroSIMcardonyourASUSPhone.A
nano to micro SIM adapter or a trimmed SIM card may not
properly t into and may not be detected by your ASUS Phone.
• DONOTinstallanemptynanotomicroSIMadapterinto
the micro SIM card slot to avoid irreversible damage.
NOTE: SIMcardslot1supports2G/3G/4Gnetworkbands.SIM
card slot 2 supports 2G network band only.
