TheDiagnosisLEDsprovidethestatusofthesekeycomponentsduringPOST(Power-
On-SelfTest):CPU,memorymodules,VGAcard,andharddiskdrives.Ifanerroris
found,thecriticalcomponent’sLEDstayslitupuntiltheproblemissolved.
TheDiagnosisLEDsprovidethemostprobablecauseofanerrorcodeasastartingpoint
fortroubleshooting.Theactualcausemayvaryfromcasetocase.
2. Standby Power LED (SBPWR1)
ThemotherboardcomeswithastandbypowerLED.ThegreenLEDlightsupto
indicatethatthesystemisON,insleepmode,orinsoft-offmode.Thisisareminder
thatyoushouldshutdownthesystemandunplugthepowercablebeforeremovingor
plugginginanymotherboardcomponent.Theillustrationbelowshowsthelocationof
theonboardLED.
