USB BIOS Flashback
USBBIOSFlashbackallowsyoutoeasilyupdatetheBIOSwithoutenteringabootable
environment,idealforBIOSrecovery,rollback,orupdatestosupportnewCPUs.Simply
insertaUSBstoragedevicetotheUSBport(theUSBportholemarkedingreenontheI/O
shield)thenpresstheUSBBIOSFlashbackbuttonforthreesecondstostarttheupdate
process.
TouseUSBBIOSFlashback:
1. DownloadthelatestBIOSfromthesupportsiteatwww.asus.com/support/ and save it
toaUSBstoragedevice.
• WerecommendyoutouseaUSB2.0storagedevicetosavethelatestBIOSversion
for better compatibility and stability.
• WhendownloadingorupdatingtheBIOSle,renameitasWSC246MP.CAP for this
motherboard.
2. InserttheUSBstoragedevicetotheUSBFlashbackport.
5. Waituntilthelightgoesout,indicatingthattheBIOSupdatingprocessiscompleted.

4. Onyourmotherboard,presstheBIOSFlashbackbuttonforthreesecondsuntilthe
FlashbackLEDblinksthreetimes,indicatingthattheBIOSFlashbackfunctionis
