When the monitor enters energy saving (standby) mode, the screen will display blank and the backlight will be turned off, and the Power LED will light “amber”. For the indication of Energy Saving (standby) mode, please refer to your user guide. Care & Cleaning • Before you lift or reposition your monitor, it is better to disconnect the cables and power cord. Follow the correct lifting techniques when positioning the monitor. When lifting or carrying the monitor, grasp the edges of the monitor. Do not lift the display by the stand or the cord. • Cleaning. Turn your monitor off and unplug the power cord. Clean the monitor surface with a lint-free, non-abrasive cloth. Stubborn stains may be removed with a cloth dampened with mild cleaner.

1.3 Assembling the monitor base To assemble the monitor base: 1. Place the display flat on a cloth on the table, assemble the base according to the drawing and use a coin to turn the screw tight. 2. 2.1 Detaching the arm/stand (for VESA wall mount) The detachable stand of the VW248TLB Series LED monitor is specially designed for VESA wall mount. To detach the arm/stand: 1. Lower the monitor to its lowest height, and then inset the monitor height adjustment lock. 2. Have the front of the monitor face down on a table. 3. Use a screwdriver to remove the two screws on the VESA cover,the slide out the arm/base to detach it from themonitor.
2.2 Adjusting the monitor • For optimal viewing, we recommend that you look at the full face of the monitor, then adjust the monitor to the angle that is most comfortable for you. • Hold the stand to prevent the monitor from falling while changing its angle. • You can tilt the monitor’s from -5º to 15º, swivel from left-to-right for 45º each side, and lift the monitor’s height for about 110 mm. 110mm -5º~15º 45º 45 º 0º 2-2 Downloaded from ManualMonitor.
