Chapter 1:introduction Product 1.3 Monitor 1.3.1 Front view introduction 1. Power (5-way) button/power indicator • Turns the monitor on/off. • Press the button and move right will shut down the monitor. • The color definition of the power indicator is as the below table. 2. 1-2 Status Description White Amber Off On Standby mode Off Shortcut 1 • Press the 5-way button to display the OSD menu when the OSD is off.

2.1 Assembling the monitor arm/base To assemble the monitor base: 1. Have the front of the monitor face down on a table, get the VESA cover lifted. 2. Place the arm hinge of the stand assembly onto its compartment on the rear of the monitor with 4 screws. 3. Attach the base into the arm with screw. 4. Lock the screw, making sure the groove match in line. 5. Assembing the VESA cover. We recommend that you cover the table surface with soft cloth to prevent damage to the monitor.
2.2 Detaching the arm/base (for VESA wall mount) The detachable arm/base of this monitor is specially designed for VESA wall mount. To detach the arm/base: 1. Have the front of the monitor face down on a table, get the VESA cover lifted. 2. Use a screwdriver to remove the screw which on the base. 3. Remove the base. 4. Remove the screws on the hinge, then remove the hinge. 5. Assembing the VESA cover.
2.3 Adjusting the monitor • For optimal viewing, we recommend that you look at the full face of the monitor, then adjust the monitor to the angle that is most comfortable for you. • Hold the stand to prevent the monitor from falling when you change its angle. • The recommended adjusting angle is +20˚ to -5˚. -5 O 20 O It is normal that the monitor slightly shakes while you adjust the viewing angle.
2.4 Connecting the cables Connect the cables as the following instructions: 15W 15W • To connect the power cord: Connect one end of the power cord securely to the monitor’s AC input port, the other end to a power outlet. • To connect the HDMI/USB-C cable: a. Plug one end of the HDMI/USB-C cable to the monitor’s HDMI/USB-C jack. b. Connect the other end of the HDMI/USB-C cable to your device’s HDMI/ USB-C jack. It is suggested to use USB cerified Type-C cable.

3.1.2 1. OSD function introduction Splendid This function contains 8 sub-functions you can select for your preference. Each mode has the Reset selection, allowing you to maintain your setting or return to the preset mode.
2. Eye Care In this function, you can adjust settings to better protect your eyes. • Rest Reminder: This function provides you a rest reminder according to how long you set for your working time. For example, if you set a 30-minute working time and there will be a pop up reminder appeared on the upper left corner of the monitor for 5 seconds when time is up. Press any key to make this reminder OSD disappear. When this function is enabled, the following functions are not available: Splendid Demo Mode, GamePlus, QuickFit.
4. Image Set the image related setting from this menu. 5. Input Select In this function, you can select your desired input source.
