With the SiS 6326 built in, the ASUS AGP-V1326 provides you with fast acceleration in both 2D/3D graphics, NTSC/PAL TV-OUT, MPEG-2/1 video decoder, and high quality scalable video playback, which can fully support 3D Gaming and Multimedia Applications.

II. Hardware Installation NOTE: The ASUS AGP-V1326 2D/3D DVD Accelerator can only be installed in motherboards with an AGP slot. II. Installation Procedures WARNING! Computer boards and components contain very delicate Integrated Circuit (IC) chips. To protect the computer board and other components against damage from static electricity, you must follow some precautions. 1. Make sure that you unplug your power supply when adding or removing expansion cards or other system components.

Windows 95 Operating System Requirements Windows 95 and Windows 95 OSR2.0/2.1 Both Windows 95 and Windows 95 OSR2.0 support AGP cards, but to take advantage of all the AGP features, you must use Win95 OSR 2.1 or later and install the ASUS VGARTD driver (see III. Windows 95, 2. Install VGARTD). To install Win95 OSR2.1, you must have OSR2.0 installed already. Otherwise, first install OSR2.0 and then use the USB support update to upgrade to OSR2.1.

Installation for an Installed ASUS AGP-V1326 “New hardware found” refers to the prompt for drivers when installing Windows 95 with the ASUS AGP-V1326 2D/3D DVD Accelerator already installed. This Manual assumes that your CD-ROM disc drive is drive D: and that Windows 95 is in C:\Windows. Replace either with the actual drive name or path, if necessary. 1.1 Windows 95 When you first start Windows 95 with the ASUS AGP-V1326 newly installed, a New Hardware Found window will appear.
III. Windows 95 2. Install VGARTD Insert the ASUS AGP-V1326 installation CD. The ASUS AGP-V1326 Install Shell will appear. If it does not appear, run D:\setup.exe. You will be presented with a list of install options. III. Windows 95 Installing Drivers Click Install VGARTD. A message appears that shows your Windows 95 version or build and the versions with which the AGP features of your card will work. Click Yes to proceed. Another message appears that the VGARTD driver is only required for AGP boards.
III. Windows 95 3. Install Windows 95 Display Driver Insert the ASUS AGP-V1326 installation CD. The ASUS AGP-V1326 Install Shell will appear. If it does not appear, run D:\setup.exe. You will be presented with a list of install options. Click Install Windows 95 Display Driver. The setup program’s Welcome dialog box appears. III. Windows 95 Installing Drivers Click Next > to select the setup type of your choice.
III. Windows 95 4. Display Utilities To run the display utilities, right-click your Windows 95 desktop, then select Properties from the list. The Display Properties dialog box will appear with either or all of these items added, depending on your setup: Display Modes, TV Output, or Gamma Correction. 4.1 Display Modes Changes the color palettes of your display Sets the screen resolution Sets the size of the text that Windows displays Changes the refresh rate III.
III. Windows 95 4.3 Gamma Correction Gamma Correction is available only in 16-bit color (64K-color) and 24-bit color (true color) modes. In 16-color and 8-bit color (256-color) modes, gamma correction function is not supported. Gamma Correction allows you to adjust the quality of your display according to your preference.
